Sweet'N Sour Capsicums Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 med. capsicums cut into quarters | ||
| 1 large unpeeled potato cut into pieces | ||
| Onion | 1 Medium, sliced | |
| Chilli powder | 1/2 Teaspoon (Masalas:) | |
| Turmeric | 1/6 Teaspoon (Masalas:) | |
| Coriander powder | 3/4 Teaspoon (Masalas:) | |
| Oil | 4 Tablespoon (Masalas:) | |
| 1/2 cup tamarind water mixed with walnut-size lump of jaggery | ||
| Salt | To Taste (Masalas:) | |
| 1/2 tsp. cummin seed powder | ||
| Garlic | 1/2 Teaspoon (Masalas:) | |
Directions
Heat oil, put in onions and masala, fry well for 2-3 mins.
Put in potatoes, capsicums and salt) add in 1 cup hot water, cover and simmer for 10 mins., or till potatoes are done.
Add in tamarind water, simmer 5 mins longer.
