Sweet-Sour Tuna Recipe

Ingredients
1 No. 2 can (2 1/2 cups) pineapple chunks
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 chicken bouillon cube dissolved in
1 cup hot water
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 green pepper cut in 1/2 inch-wide strips
2 6 1/2- or 7-ounce cans tuna drained and broken in chunks
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 3-ounce cans chow-mein noodles
Directions
Preheat electric skillet to 230° to 250°.
Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt; stir in bouillon, pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce.
Pour into skillet.
Cook and stir till mixture bubbles.
Continue cooking 1 minute.
Add pineapple, green pepper, tuna, and butter.
Cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over chowmein noodles.
Pass soy sauce.
