Sweet Sour Ham Patties Recipe
Ingredients
| Packed brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cider vinegar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Prepared mustard | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cooked ham | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 egg, slightly beaten | ||
| Green pepper | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs | ||
| Ketchup | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 6 canned pineapple slices, drained | ||
Directions
Combine the brown sugar, vinegar, and mustard in a bowl; set aside.
Toss lightly in a bowl the ground ham, egg, green pepper, onion, crumbs, and ketchup.
Shape mixture into 12 patties about 3 1/2-inches in diameter.
Place 6 of the patties in a lightly greased baking dish.
Top each patty with a pineapple slice.
Cover pineapple with another ham patty.
Make a hole just through top patty.
Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the sauce into each hole.
Brush remaining sauce over the tops of patties.
Set in a 350CF oven 25 minutes, or until thoroughly heated, basting several times with the sauce in baking dish.
