Sweet Sour Country Style Ribs Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 lbs country style ribs 1 kg | ||
| Black pepper, flavored salt, or pizza seasoning | ||
| Ketchup | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup pineapple jam or fine shred marmalade 125 mL | ||
| French dressing | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salad oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic powder or crushed fresh garlic | ||
Directions
Rub a generous amount of pepper and flavored salt into the lean surfaces of the meat and place fat side up in a shallow, lightly oiled bake pan.
Roast at 375F (190C) for 30 minutes and turn: Brush with a mixture of the remaining ingredients and bake at 325F (160C) for 2 hours, turning and brushing with the sauce every 20 minutes.
Add a little water to the pan during cooking if necessary.
Slice and serve with whipped sweet potatoes and creamed Brussels sprouts.
