Sweet Pepper Sauce Recipe
This Sweet Pepper Sauce recipe easily finds way to the top of my favorite list. There is not a single month when I don't serve this yummy Side Dish! You will fall head over heels in love with this easy and delectable Sweet Pepper Sauce recipe as soon as you try it!
Ingredients
3 medium-size sweet red peppers
1 medium-size green pepper, seeded and chopped
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
Directions
Place red peppers in a 9-inch square pan; bake at 400° for 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes.
Remove from oven; cool.
Cook green pepper, covered, in boiling water to cover 5 minutes, drain and set aside.
Peel red peppers over a medium bowl, collecting juice.
Strain juice, and place in container of an electric blender.
Add peeled red peppers, salt, and 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper, process until smooth.
Stir in reserved green pepper; transfer to a serving bowl.
Cover and chill.
Serve with poached white fish.
