Ingredients
Apple
banana
pineapple fresh or canned
water melon
honeydew melon
papaya
mango
kiwi fruit
star fruit
guava
Choc sauce
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup of water
1/4 tsp vanilla
Directions
1 Use whatever fruit you can get. Peel and cut fruits into bite sized chunks, slices or shapes (use cookie cutter or melon bailer).
2 To make one kabab, carefully push a thin skewer through the fruits, alternating colours and shapes. For a sweeter one, you may use marshmallows, too. Toast the kababs very lightly, if wished.
3 Dip in chocolate sauce, sprinkle with nuts and serve. May be chilled and served also.
4 Choco sauce: Mix cocoa powder, sugar, salt and water. Cook over medium heat until syrupy. Remove and add vanilla.
5 You may add 1/4 cup chopped milk or bitter chocolate or a combination of both. Thin down with water to the desired consistency.
6 These kababs can be made savoury, too. Sprinkle chaat masala, lime juice, and dip in a sweet sour tamarind chutney or a hot barbecue sauce.
