Sweet Georgia Peach Pie Recipe

Ingredients
1 unbaked pie shell ( Basic Pastry)
6 to 8 large fresh peaches, peeled, sliced
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons melted shortening
Directions
Prepare pie shell; fill with peaches.
Beat eggs well in bowl; add sugar, flour, and shortening.
Pour over peaches.
It will form its own top crust in baking.
Bake at 400°F 15 minutes.
Lower oven to 325 °F; cook 40 minutes.
Let cool to room temperature.
