Directions
Simmer 2 hours or until tender.
Cool; chill 1 hour and 15 minutes before serving.
Skim off all fat; remove any loose bones from ribs and remove bay leaf.
Place meat in a 6-cup baking dish; pour sauce over.
Top with onion slices; cover.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes; remove cover.
Baste onions with sauce in dish.
Bake 30 minutes longer or until meat is tender.
