Sweet And Sour Vegetables Recipe

Ingredients
"A"
1 cup carrots, quartered
1 cup french beans, cut lengthwise
1 cup bamboo shoots, quartered
1 cup cauliflower
2 capsicums, quartered
1 cup cabbage, shredded
2 onions, quartered
2 tbsps. chopped spring onion leaves for garnishing
"B"
6 tbsps. sugar
1 tbsp. soya sauce
1 tbsp. wine
2 tbsps. vinegar
4 tbsps. tomato sauce
1 tbsp. cornflour mixed with 1/2 cup water
1 cup water
1 tsp. salt
"C"
1 tsp. wine
1 tbsp. cornflour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. red chilli oil
1/2 cup oil
Directions
Wash and dry the "A" ingredients.
Add wine, cornflour, salt, pepper from "C" ingredients and set aside.
Heat 1/2 cup oil and saute all the "A" ingredients except spring onion leaves (don't let them brown).
Mix all the "B" ingredients (except cornflour) with 1 cup water and pour over the vegetables.
Let is simmer on a low flame till it becomes tender.
Mix cornflour with 1/2 cup water and add to the mixture.
Cook for another 5 minutes.
Remove from fire, sprinkle chilli oil and garnish with chopped spring onion leaves and serve hot.
