1 can (29 ounces) sauerkraut
 
1 large sweet onion, sliced thinly into rings
 
1 green pepper, cut in thin strips
 
3 ribs celery, diced
 
1 jar (2 ounces) pimientos, drained and chopped
 
3/4 cup sugar, or to taste

Directions

Mix all ingredients and refrigerate overnight. Salad keeps well for several days.
