Easy Sweet And Sour Pork Recipe
Ingredients
| Pork shoulder | 2 Pound | |
| Soy sauce | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Brown sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| White sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Vinegar | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pineapple juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Green pepper | 1 To taste, chopped | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 No. 2 can chunk pineapple, drained | ||
Directions
Cut pork into 2-inch strips, removing most of fat.
Soak strips in 2 tablespoons soy sauce for 2 hours; drain and brown in oil.
Pour mixture of sugars, vinegar, water, pineapple juice, 1 tablespoon soy sauce and green pepper over meat; simmer for 1 hour or until tender.
Mix cornstarch and water; pour over meat and cook until thickened.
Add pineapple chunks and serve over cooked rice or chow mein noodles.
