Sweet-And-Sour Asparagus Recipe
Ingredients
| Asparagus | 2 Pound | |
| White vinegar | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salad oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cinnamon stick | 3 | |
| Whole Cloves | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Celery seed | 1 Teaspoon |
Directions
Prepare and cook asparagus (Fresh Asparagus).
Remove from pan; set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan; bring to boil.
Place asparagus in shallow glass dish; pour vinegar mixture over.
Cover; chill 24 hours.
Equal amounts of canned, green asparagus spears can be substituted for fresh asparagus.
