Sweet Sour Tuna Recipe
Ingredients
| Pineapple chunks | 1 | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 chicken bouillon cube in 1 cup hot water | ||
| Vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 2 cups green-pepper strips, 1/2 inch wide | ||
| 2 6 1/2- or 7-ounce cans tuna, drained and broken in chunks | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 6-ounce cans chow-mein noodles | ||
Directions
Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
Combine sugar, cornstarch; stir in bouillon, pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce, and salt.
Cook and stir till mixture thickens.
Add pineapple, green pepper, tuna, butter.
Heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over noodles.
Pass soy sauce.
