Sweet Sour Roast Pork Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Green pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), cut into strips | |
| 1/4 cup coarsely chopped onion | ||
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Crushed pineapple can | 1 8 1/2 Ounce, undrained | |
| Vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 4 1/2-inch-thick slices cooked roast pork, trimmed of fat | ||
Directions
Preheat broiler if manufacturer directs.
In medium skillet over low heat, melt butter.
Saute green pepper and onion about 5 minutes; stir in cornstarch and pineapple.
Heat, stirring, until thickened.
Add vinegar and soy sauce and pour over pork in shallow open pan.
Broil about 5 minutes or until bubbly.
