Sweet Orange Loin Of Pork Recipe
Ingredients
| Dry white wine | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Honey | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Boneless pork | 2 Pound, trimmed | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 , diced | |
| Vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Mandarin | 10 Ounce | |
| Brown sauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs), heated | |
| Juice 2 oranges | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Preheat barbecue at LOW.
Bring wine to boil in small saucepan; continue cooking 2 minutes.
Stir in honey and orange juice; cook 3 minutes.
Brush honey mixture over pork.
Place meat on hot grill and cook, partially covered, 40 to 45 minutes depending on size.
Turn frequently, baste occasionally and season once.
Before pork is done, prepare sauce.
Heat butter in small saucepan.
Add onion and cook 3 minutes over medium heat.
Stir in vinegar and half the juice from mandarins; cook 3 minutes.
Correct seasoning and stir in brown sauce and mandarin sections; simmer 3 to 4 minutes.
