Sweet & Easy Coca Cola Pulled Pork Recipe
Ingredients
| Pork shoulder | 6 Pound | |
| 5 onions, 4 sliced and 1 chopped | ||
| 2 cans Coca-Cola or favorite soda | ||
| Honey | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bbq sauce | 1 Bottle (1l) | |
Directions
Place three sliced onions at the bottom of Crock Pot.
Season pork roast with salt and pepper.
Place roast in slow cooker on top of the sliced onions.
Cover with the rest of the sliced onions and add enough water to fill Crock Pot two thirds of the way.
Cover and cook on low overnight or 6 to 10 hours.
Remove roast and discard bones and fat as well as any water and grease remaining in pot.
When pork roast is cool enough to handle, use a fork or your fingers to pull it apart until the entire roast is shredded.
Return the pulled pork to the crock pot.
Mix in the chopped onions, Coke, honey and BBQ sauce; cover.
Heat on high for 1 hour.
