Sweet Crust Recipe
Ingredients
| Whole wheat pastry flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 c. unbleached white flour | ||
| 7 to 7 1/2 Tbsp. soy margarine, cut into bits | ||
| Nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Salt | 1 Dash | |
| Ice water | 6 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Place flour, margarine, nutmeg and salt in a food processor and process 10 seconds to a cornmeal texture.
With processor running, add 3 tablespoons ice water.
Add remaining water slowly and stop the machine as soon as dough begins to form a ball.
Tiny pieces of margarine should be visible in dough.
Roll out on floured surface to fit 2-crust 9-inch pie pan.
