Directions

Follow the instructions for making Rich Milk Bread (Short-Time Method).
Shape the dough as described under Sweet Bread (Standard Method).
Place the baking sheets inside large lightly oiled plastic bags and leave the loaves to rise for about 50-60 minutes at room temperature or 40-45 minutes in a warm place, or the rolls for about 30 minutes at room temperature or 25 minutes in a warm place.
Bake and finish the loaves and rolls at the same temperature and times as for Sweet Bread (Standard Method).
