Ingredients

 Flour1 Cup (16 tbs) (For dumplings :)
 Cornflour2 Tablespoon (For dumplings :)

 Soya sauce, 1 teaspoon
 Vinegar4 Tablespoon (For sauce:)
 Brown sugar or plain sugar, 4 tablespoons
 Stock or water, 1 1/2 cups
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon (For sauce:)
 Milk or water, 4 to 6 tablespoons
 Oil2 Teaspoon (For sauce:)
 Olive salad3 Tablespoon (For sauce:)
 Tomato ketchup3 Tablespoon (For sauce:)
 Garlic3 Clove (5gm), crushed (For sauce:)
 Spring onion or onion, finely chopped, 200 gms
 Ginger1/2 Teaspoon, crushed (For sauce:)

Directions

To make dumplings, sift together flour, cornflour, salt and baking powder.
Rub in oil.
Add milk and make a stiff dough.
Make balls about 1/2 inch in diameter.
Arrange balls a little apart, on a sieve and steam cook them for 30 minutes.
To prepare sauce, heat oil in a pan and fry onion.
Blend together the rest of the ingredients and add to the onions.
Cook till transparent and clear, stirring all the time.
Lower dumplings into hot sauce and simmer for two minutes.
