 Stock/Water1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

 Milk/Water6 Tablespoon
 Oil2 Teaspoon
 Olive oil/Salad oil3 Tablespoon
 Tomato ketchup3 Tablespoon
 Garlic3 Clove (15 gm), crushed
 Spring onion/Onion200 Gram, finely chopped
 Ginger1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed

Directions

To make dumplings, sift together flour, cornflour, salt and baking powder.
Rub in oil.
Add milk and make a stiff dough.
Make balls about 1/2 inch in diameter.
Arrange balls a little apart, on a sieve and steam cook them for 30 minutes.
To prepare sauce, heat oil in a pan and fry onion.
Blend together the rest of the ingredients and add to the onions.
Cook till transparent and clear, stirring all the time.
Lower dumplings into hot sauce and simmer for two minutes.
