Swedish Meatballs Recipe

| Ground round steak/1 pound beef and 1 /2 pound ground veal | 1 1⁄2 Pound | |
| Onion | 1 Large | |
| Bread crumbs/Cracker crumbs | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Ground allspice/Mace | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Red wine | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Water | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Sour cream/1 teaspoon flour and 1 tablespoon water | 3 Tablespoon |

Directions
Shape into small balls, about the size of a walnut.
Cook gently in butter or margarine in frying pan, turning as they brown until uniformly colored.
Pour in wine and water, and cover.
Simmer 20 minutes.
A little more water may be added if the sauce boils away.
Just before serving, stir in sour cream.
Serve with hot buttered or margarined noodles, baked potatoes or fluffy rice.
