Swedish Meatballs Recipe
|Ground round steak/1 pound beef and 1 /2 pound ground veal||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Bread crumbs/Cracker crumbs||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground allspice/Mace||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Red wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sour cream/1 teaspoon flour and 1 tablespoon water||3 Tablespoon|

Shape into small balls, about the size of a walnut.
Cook gently in butter or margarine in frying pan, turning as they brown until uniformly colored.
Pour in wine and water, and cover.
Simmer 20 minutes.
A little more water may be added if the sauce boils away.
Just before serving, stir in sour cream.
Serve with hot buttered or margarined noodles, baked potatoes or fluffy rice.
