Swedish Braid Recipe

Prepare dough as for Swedish Bread and let rise.
Reserve 1 tsp. egg-yolk for glazing instead of egg white and mix with 1 tsp. cold water.
Cut dough into 3 pieces of equal size and roll into long strips.
Then braid.
Put on greased sheet, cover and let rise.
Brush over with egg yolk mixture and sprinkle with 1/4 cup chopped blanched almonds.
Bake in hot oven of 400° F. for 1 hr.
