Swedish Meatballs With Chives Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup dry seasoned bread crumbs
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 beaten egg
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 Tbsp. dried chives
Directions
Pour milk over crumbs, soak 15 minutes.
Blend ground beef, egg, salt, pepper, Kitchen Bouquet, onion, and crumb mixture.
Shape into 1" meatballs; arrange on roasting rack in 12x8-inch dish.
Microwave (high) 8-10 minutes, rotating dish 1/4 turn halfway through cooking. (Rearrange meatballs if cooking unevenly.) Rest, covered, 5 minutes; make gravy or roux. (We love this cooked in roux.) Pour gravy over meatballs; top with dried chives.
