Swedish Meatballs With Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1 pound | |
| 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs | ||
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| 1 egg, slightly beaten | ||
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Cream of celery | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dill pickle | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Cooked rice | ||
Directions
Mix thoroughly beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, and parsley; shape into 16 meatballs.
In skillet, brown meatballs (use shortening if necessary) ; pour off fat.
Stir in soup, water, and pickle.
Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done.
Stir occasionally.
