Swedish Fruit Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 medium unpared orange, thinly sliced and halved | ||
| Pineapple juice | 1 18 Ounce | |
| Currant jelly | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Quick-cooking tapioca | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 11-ounce package mixed dried fruits | ||
| 1/2 cup light raisins | ||
| Cinnamon stick | 4 Inch | |
| Water | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
In bowl, mix orange, pineapple juice, jelly, sugar, tapioca, and salt.
Let stand 15 minutes.
Cut up large pieces of dried fruit.
In 2 1/2-quart casserole, combine mixed fruits, raisins, cinnamon, and water.
Cook, covered, at HIGH for 10 minutes.
Cook, covered, at MEDIUM HIGH (7) for 20 minutes or till tender.
Add orange mixture.
Cook, covered, at MEDIUM (5) for 15 minutes, stirring twice.
Remove cinnamon.
Let stand 15 minutes.
Cut up large pieces of dried fruit.

Cook, covered, at HIGH for 10 minutes.
Cook, covered, at MEDIUM HIGH (7) for 20 minutes or till tender.
Add orange mixture.
Cook, covered, at MEDIUM (5) for 15 minutes, stirring twice.
Remove cinnamon.
