Swedish Fruit Balls Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Packed brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Baking soda | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Candied fruits | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Confectioners' sugar | ||
Directions
Melt the butter in a metal 9-inch square baking pan.
Tilt the pan to coat the bottom evenly; set aside.
Beat the eggs slightly.
Stir in the vanilla.
Combine the brown sugar, flour, and baking soda; mix in the can died fruits.
Stir into the eggs; mix well.
Pour into the buttered pan; do not stir.
Bake in a 350° oven for 20 minutes.
Remove to a rack and let stand until cool enough to handle, but still warm.
Remove the mixture by table-spoonfuls and roll into small balls; then roll in confectioners' sugar to coat.
