Swedish Cabbage Rolls Recipe
Ingredients
| Cabbage leaves | 12 Large | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Milk | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onions | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground beef | 1 Pound, browned | |
| Rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs), cooked | |
| Tomato sauce | 8 Can (10oz) | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon |
Directions
MAKING
1) In boiling water dip cabbage leaves for about 3 minutes or until limp.
2) Drain and keep aside.
3) In a bowl, mix egg, milk, onions, salt, pepper, beef, and rice.
4) Spoon about 1/4 cup meat mixture at the center of each leaf.
5) Fold in the sides and roll ends over the meat.
6) Arrange it in slow cooker.
7) In a bowl mix tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
8) Pour the mixture over cabbage rolls.
9) Cook covered on low for 7-9 hours.
SERVING
10) Serve hot.
