Ingredients

 1 2 1/2 to 3 pound Porterhouse or sirloin steak, about 2 inches thick
 3/4 cup finely chopped Bermuda onion
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm), minced
 Dash each salt, pepper, celery salt
 3 tablespoons cooking claret
 Soy sauce2 Tablespoon
 Butter/Margarine1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sliced mushrooms1 3 Ounce, broiled

Directions

Slash fat edge of steak€”don't cut into meat.
Slitting from fat side, cut pocket in each side of lean, almost to bone.
Combine onion and garlic, salt, pepper, and celery salt; fill pockets in steak.
Mix claret and soy sauce; brush on steak.
Grill over hot coals a total of 25 minutes or till done to your liking, turning once €” brush occasionally with soy mixture.
Heat butter and mushrooms, pour over steak.
Slice across grain and serve sizzling!
