Ingredients

 
100gm Pure deshi ghee (or vegetable oil)
 
100gm Suzi
 
500ml Milk,
 
Sugar according to your taste
 
A few nuts (cashew, raisins, almonds or others)

Directions

• Heat the pure ghee in a karahi (cauldron) on medium flame.
• Add suzi and stir it with spoon until it gets brown.
• Keep stirring till the mixture is golden brown in colour.
• Add milk into the cauldron.
• Stir it continuously, until suzi is properly mixed.
• Now add sugar and stir on medium flame for 2 more minutes.
• Halwa is ready garnish it with the nuts and serve hot.

welcome, did you try Suzi halwa. In India Suzi halwa is served as 'Prasadam' in Gurudwara. Once I visited Gurudwara Patna city in Bihar, a place in India where 10th and last Guru of Sikh religion was born, and got this Suzi Halwa as Prasadam. That was very tasty...I never got that taste again.

Yes, Suzi Halwa is very tasty and easy to prepare. This also reminds me my childhood when I want something to eat and my mother makes this Suzi Halwa in few minutes. I miss those golden days, but I lived each moment full of life. Hot Suzi Halwa sharing with my friends and brother was really fulfilling moment.
