Ingredients

 
4 cups sliced potatoes
 
1 medium size onion
 
3 tablespoons butter
 
3 tablespoons flour
 
1 1/2 cups milk
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
A little pepper

Directions

Melt butter in skillet or sauce pan.
Add butter, flour and pepper.
Stir until blended and slowly add milk, stirring constantly.
Cook until thickened.
Fill baking dish with potatoes and onions.
Add cream sauce.
If you wish you may add 1 cup of grated cheese to cream sauce.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
