New York Strip Steak Stuffed with Smoked Lobster Recipe Video

Here's a video I recently taped for a new grilling show on Food Network. Unfortunately I didn't make the cut but hopefully you enjoy it! My son really enjoyed getting involved and we've started taping some other favorite recipes and a few of our BBQ contests.

Ingredients

 
20 ounces New York Strip Steak
 
One lobster Tail
 
Butter

Directions

Smoke lobster tail over indirect heat for approximately 20 minutes
Remove lobster and cube
Using a filet knife, create a pocket lengthwise through steak and stuff with lobster meat
season steak to taste
Sear steak approximately 10 minutes per side then move to wood plank to complete cooking, removing when internal temperature reaches desired level of doneness
Rest 10-15 minutes, slice and serve
