Sure Sugar Pie Recipe
Ingredients
Filling
2 cups (500 ml) brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp (15 ml) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (125 ml) evaporated milk or 15% cream
1 tbsp (15 ml) melted butter pie dough for 2 crusts
Directions
– Preheat oven to 400 °F (205 °C).
– In a bowl, combine all filling ingredients.
– Line a pie plate with 1 crust and add the filling. Cover with second crust. Pinch sides and cut a slit in the middle to let steam escape. Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
