Supper Salad Ring Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 package lemon-flavored gelatin | ||
| Hot water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 1 1/2 cups grapefruit sections, cut in pieces | ||
| Grapefruit juice | ||
| Tuna fish | 1 Cup (16 tbs), flaked | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| 1/2 cup cooked peas | ||
| Pimiento | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Mayonnaise | 5 Tablespoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
2) Sprinkle salt over grapefruit and drain.
3) Add water to juice to make a cup and then pour over gelatin, let it chill until thickened.
MAKING
4) Add grapefruit.
5) Take a ring mold and pour over it, chill until firm.
6) Mix the remaining ingredients and chill.
SERVING
7) Unmold the gelatin in crisp lettuce.
8) Stuff the center with tuna mixture and serve with mayonnaise.
