Super Sandwich Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
| French bread loaf | 1 Pound | |
| Butter | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Shredded sharp cheddar cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry mustard | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Ketchup | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Chopped onion | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Chopped parsley | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Prepared horseradish | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salami slices | 8 | |
| Mozzarella cheese slices | 8 | |
| Dill pickle slices | 8 | |
| Green pepper rings | 8 | |
| Baked ham slices | 8 |
Directions
Cut loaf into 1 1/2 inch slices almost through to bottom.
Using a sharp-pointed knife, cut out alternate slices, leaving 1/4 inch of the crust at bottom.
Blend butter and cheese; mix in the dry mustard, ketchup, onion, parsley, and horseradish.
Place loaf on a large piece of aluminum foil or a baking sheet.
Spread cheese mixture generously over the surface of each cutout section.
Arrange vertically in each cavity: 1 slice of salami, folded in half, 1 slice of mozzarella cheese, 1 slice of pickle, 1 green pepper ring, and 1 slice of ham, folded in thirds.
Set loaf in a 400°F oven and heat about 10 minutes, or until cheese mixture begins to melt.
