| 1/4 c. milk Cracker crumbs | ||
| Shortening | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 can cream of mushroom or celery | ||
| 1/2 soup can water | ||
Directions
Form meat into 4 to 6 patties.
Beat egg and milk together.
Dip patties in egg mixture; dip in cracker crumbs.
Brown in shortening over medium heat.
Combine soup and water; pour over hamburger steaks in skillet.
Simmer for 20 minutes.
