Ingredients
| Lean beef | 1 pound | |
| Soft bread crumbs | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 Large, beaten | |
| Onion | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Poultry seasoning | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Vegetable oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Canned Beer at Room Temperature - 1 or Apple Juice - 1/2 cup | ||
| Catsup | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cider vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Parsley - additionally chopped | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Into a medium bowl combine the beef, bread, milk, eggs, onion, parsley, salt and the poultry seasoning, pepper and mix well
2) Using the hand, shape into 48 meat balls
3) Into a non stick skillet, add the oil and fry the meatballs till evenly browned
4) Drain onto absorbent paper
5) Into a Dutch oven or 3 quart saucepan add in the beer, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and vinegar and mix till well combined
6) Bring to a boil over a medium heat
7) Tip in the meatballs and simmer at low heat for 15 minutes and allow the sauce to thicken
8) Pour into a chafing dish or slow cooker, garnished with parsley
