1) In a small pan, place the orange juice and bring to boil.
2) Reduce the heat slightly, and cook for about 25 to 30 minutes, swirling the pan occasionally. The juice should be reduced to 3 to 4 tablespoons thick syrup.
3) In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise and sour cream.
4) Stir in 2 tablespoons of the orange syrup and the orange zest.
5) Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 hours.
6) Serve as a dip for any dish of your choice.
