Sunny Ham Burgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Milk | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Whole wheat bread crumbs | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 pound ground fully cooked ham | ||
| Ground beef | 1/2 pound | |
| 1/4 cup shelled sunflower seeds | ||
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Milk | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 5 whole wheat hamburger buns, split and toasted | ||
| Prepared horseradish | ||
Directions
Combine egg, 2 tablespoons milk, crumbs, and dash pepper.
Add ground meats;mix well.
Using about 1/4 cup mixture for each patty, shape meat mixture into ten 3 1/2 inch patties; setaside.
Combine sunflower seeds, onion, and 2 teaspoons milk.
Spoon 1 heaping tablespoon of the mixture onto center of five patties.
Top with remaining five patties.
Press edges together well to seal.
Broil over hot coals for 12 to 15 minutes, turning once. (Centers will remain pink due to ham).
