Sun Dried Tomato Gravy Recipe
Ingredients
| Sun-dried tomatoes | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), Sun-dried | |
| Boiling water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 2 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Milk fat | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup meat loaf pan drippings or beef broth | ||
| 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onions | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Dried basil | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Combine tomatoes and boiling water in a bowl; cover and let stand 15 minutes or until softened.
Drain well, and finely chop; set aside.
Place flour in a small saucepan; gradually add milk, stirring with a wire whisk until blended.
Stir in tomatoes, pan drippings, and remaining ingredients.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk, 10 minutes or until mixture is thickened.
