Summertime Salsa Recipe
Ingredients
| Chopped tomatoes | 10 Cup (16 tbs), peeled | |
| Onions | 5 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Green peppers | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), pounded | |
| Sweet peppers | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| White vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 6 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped | ||
| Garlic | 3 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Salt | 3 Teaspoon | |
| Red pepper flakes | 1/2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Mustard seed | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a large kettle; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 1-3/4 hours or until mixture reaches desired thickness.
Pour hot mixture into hot jars, leaving 1/4-in headspace.
Adjust caps.
Process in a boiling-water bath for 15 minutes.
