Summer's Best Green Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 small head of romaine | ||
| 1 small head of leaf lettuce | ||
| Green onions | 3 , sliced | |
| 1 envelope French salad-dressing mix | ||
| Tomato juice | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cider vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
1. Break the romaine and lettuce leaves into bite-size pieces in large bowl. (You should have about 6 cups.) Add onions.
2. Combine salad-dressing mix, tomato juice, vinegar and water in a jar with tight-fitting lid; shake well to mix.
3. Drizzle about 1/4 cup over the greens; toss to coat well. Pass remaining dressing separately, if you wish.
