Summer Fruit Bounty Recipe
Summer Fruit Bounty is a summer treat and kids love this like anything. This is one of the recipes I am known for and is pretty easy to prepare too. However, make sure that the fruits you use for the Summer Fruit Bounty are fresh.
Ingredients
1 honeydew melon
2 tsp. fresh fruit juice or pineapple juice
2 tbsp. sugar
1 med. pear, diced
2 c. sliced peaches
1 banana, sliced
1/2 c. sliced strawberries
1/2 pt. orange sherbet Sprig of fresh mint
Directions
Cut honeydew melon in half.
Remove seed; scoop out meat.
Cut into cubes.
Scallop edges of shell.
Turn melon halves upside down to drain; store in refrigerator.
Com bine fresh fruit or pineapple juice and sugar.
Peel and slice pear, peaches and banana directly into sugar mixture.
Add melon cubes and strawberries; toss well.
Cover; store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
