Summer Stew Recipe
Ingredients
| Middle neck of lamb 500 gm. | ||
| Turnips | 115 Gram (For 4) | |
| Carrots | 225 Gram (For 4) | |
| New potatoes 450 gm. | ||
| Green peas | 450 Gram (For 4) | |
| Onions | 115 Gram (For 4) | |
| Salt | To Taste (For 4) | |
| Pepper | 1 (For 4) | |
| Mint | 1/2 Bunch (100gm) (For 4) | |
Directions
1. Wash lamb and cut into pieces.
2. Peel and slice onions.
3. Scrape and cut turnips and carrots.
4. peel potatoes, shell peas and chop mint.
5. Put the meat, onions and seasoning in a pan. Add sufficient water to cover the meat. Simmer for one hour.
6. Add vegetables potatoes and mint and cook till vegetables and meat are tender.
7. Remove from fire and serve hot.
