Summer Corn Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 10-oz. pkg. quick-frozen corn | ||
| Boiling water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| 2 tablesp. fat or salad oil | ||
| Speck pepper | ||
| Granulated Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Water cress | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
Directions
Drop frozen corn into the boiling water with 1/2 teasp salt.
Cover; bring to a boil, and simmer 2 min., or until just tender.
Meanwhile, cook onion tender in fat.
Add to cooked corn with remaining ingredients.
Toss thoroughly.
