Suji Ka Halwa Recipe Video
Shuji halwa or semolina dessert is a dish made on more than one occcasion to celebrate. It doesn't take long to prepare it and it is yummy.

Ingredients
1 cup semolina/ suji
1 cup oil
1 cup sugar - or less
2 cup water
Pinch of Saffron thread
Pinch of Saffron colour
Few cardamom pods
Final garnishing- assorted nuts
Directions
Heat water and add saffron, color and cardamom pods. Add sugar too.
Heat some oil and add cardamom and nuts. Add semolina and roast it on slow to medium heat.
When semolina is light brown add hot boiling sugar.
Add water slowly. Mix quickly and let it cook until water evaporates.
The halwa starts to from a ball and leaves the edges. Oil separates from the mixture.
Suji halwa is ready.
