Sugar Plum Strawberry Pancakes Recipe
Ingredients
2 c, packaged layer or pound cake mix
1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. chopped nuts
Directions
Add egg and 1/2 cup water to cake mix; beat until smooth.
Stir in flour and nuts.
Drop by spoonfuls onto hot greased griddle.
Bake until underside is golden brown and bubbles appear on surface.
Turn; bake other side.
Serve hot with sweetened straw- berries and whipped cream spooned over cakes shortcake-fashion.
