Sugar Pie Recipe
As name suggests Sugar pie is a delectable desert. The mixture of sweetened condensed milk, corn syrup, vanilla makes it perfectly sweet. Dressing of walnuts or pecans make Sugar pie is desert to recon.
Ingredients
1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
1 1/3 cups (1 can) eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
1 cup corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In medium size bowl blend together sweetened condensed milk,
Corn syrup and vanilla.
Pour into pastry shell.
Sprinkle nuts evenly on top.
Bake at 425°F for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350°F and continue baking for 20 minutes or until filling is almost set.
Cool.
