1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup milk
Butter to grease pan
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
Directions
Sift together flour, salt, cream of tartar, and baking soda.
Cream the butter; gradually add sugar.
Beat until fluffy.
Add egg.
Add flour mixture, alternating with milk.
Pour into greased 8 inch-square pan.
Sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon.
Bake in preheated 350°F toaster oven 25 to 30 minutes.
