Sugar Snap Peas With Chives Recipe
Sugar snap peas with chives is a fresh and herbed peas recipe. Cooked with margerine, the peas and tossed to prepare and served warm. A light and easy to prepare side that is ready in a jiffy.
Ingredients
3/4 pound Sugar Snap peas, trimmed and strings removed
1 tablespoon unsalted margarine
2 teaspoons snipped fresh chives or minced green onion
Directions
In a large saucepan, bring 4 cups water to a boil; add the peas, cover, and cook for 1 minute.
Drain, transfer to a bowl, and set aside.
In the same saucepan, melt the margarine over moderate heat; add the peas and toss.
Stir in the chives and toss again.
