Sugar Crusted Parsnips Recipe
Ingredients
| Parsnips | 1 pound, cut into strips | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Nutmeg to taste | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Cook parsnips in enough water to cover for 5 minutes; drain.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Stir in brown sugar, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Add parsnips; mix well.
Cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
