Stuffed Shell Macaroni Recipe
Ingredients
| Large shell macaroni | 16 Ounce | |
| Ground sirloin | 3 1⁄2 Pound | |
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Green bell pepper | 1⁄4 , chopped | |
| Minced garlic | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cream cheese | 24 Ounce, softened | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Pasta sauce | 26 Ounce (Use The Traditional Variety, 1 Jar) | |
| Shredded provolone cheese/Shredded mozzarella cheese | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) |
Directions
Prepare the macaroni using the package directions; drain.
Rinse in cold water.
Brown the ground sirloin with the onion, bell pepper and garlic in a skillet, stirring until beef is crumbly; drain well.
Combine the ground beef mixture, cream cheese and Parmesan cheese in a large bowl; mix with the hands until well combined.
Spread 3/4 to 1 cup of the pasta sauce in an llxl5 inch baking dish sprayed lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
Fill the shells with the ground beef mixture, 1 shell at a time.
Arrange the stuffed shells in the baking dish until dish is full.
Pour the remaining pasta sauce over the stuffed shells.
Sprinkle with the provolone.
Cover tightly with foil or a lid.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until bubbly.
Let stand for 5 minutes or so before serving.
